English title: Analisis of the multisite electrical activity of the guinea pig's auditory cortex.

Multisite experimental data measured with voltage-dependent fluorescent dyes (optical imaging) was analyzed with advanced signal processing techniques, and a single-site signal model based on biological knowledge and on neural coding theories as well as a signal processing methodology based on this model were developed. Finally, the multisite data were analyzed with new, model-based, methods in order to characterize the spatiotemporal activity of the cortex.
